Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
We are a self-pay practice. We are happy to provide monthly superbills for clients who wish to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. It’s always worth checking your benefits! We do not bill insurance directly.
What is your rate?
150.00 per 50 minute session
180.00 for the initial intake appointment which includes assessment tests.
How often do we meet?
It is recommended to meet once weekly at the beginning of treatment and we further evaluate the appointment frequency as symptoms start to improve. Often people are seen weekly for at least 4-6 months and then taper down to bi weekly appointments, then monthly and finally just reaching out to us for sessions as needed.

Are services provided virtually or in the office?
We are providing virtual services at this time in Illinois and Wisconsin. We are not available for in office appointments at this time.
What is your cancellation policy?
24 hours notice or the client is responsible for the session fee. We understand that life is unpredictable. If something comes up unexpectedly, please reach out as soon as possible and we will work with you.
'New to therapy? How does this work?
Great question! Contact us through our contact form to inquire about openings. We discuss what you are coming in for to make sure this is a good fit based on what we specialize in. If not, we will provide appropriate referrals for you.
If we are a good fit, then we schedule your initial intake session. Once that is on the books, you will be sent a link to complete assessments and various forms. Your clinician will take a look at those documents prior to your first session and during that session we go over any questions you have and what your goals are for treatment. Then we will meet weekly to work toward your treatment goals.
The counseling relationship is different from most. This is a space for clients to meet with someone who strives for a non-judgmental environment and engages in active listening. We provide that time and space as well as directives to assist clients toward what they hope to accomplish in therapy.
Our Approach & Philosophy
At Limitless Counseling Center, our starting point is always where you are right now, not where we think you should be.
Ultimately, we strive to create an environment that is welcoming, non-judgmental and one that leads to effective care. We work with counseling approaches and interventions that are grounded in empirical evidence, and that have been shown to be effective for the client’s primary concern. Below is a list of approaches we rely on most.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
- Prolonged Exposure (PE)
